The Intent of this Privacy Policy:

This is the web site of Novel Projects, Inc..

Before you get to the details of the privacy policy below, I'd like to summarize its good faith intent. We collect information for the sole purpose of making BookLamp a better service; we have no interest in selling your information to marketers, or clogging your inbox with junk mail. We only collect contact information when you register as a member, and will not use it for purposes that are not directly related to BookLamp.org. The good faith statement of this policy is simply that we'll do our best to protect your data as if it were our own; I know I wouldn't want to start getting unsolicited e-mails about the latest and greatest books without asking for it, so I imagine you don't want it either. I do reserve the right to send you an e-mail from time to time if something cool happens, but I promise to try not to abuse that.

Since we don't know exactly where this project is going, it's possible that somewhere along the line unexpected events will come up; if Amazon or Google were to approach us about applying BookLamp to their book database, we'd certainly consider that a partnership that improves BookLamp.org, and we'd consider sharing your information with them.

However, if that happens, we'll send you an e-mail about it before it does, letting you know what's happening and why. Below you'll find the details of the policy, but if you have any questions, feel free to fire them my direction. Thanks again.
