For all of you that may be fans, as I am, I am sad to announce that David Eddings has passed away at the age of 77.   Cry

He follows his wife Leigh who passed on the 28 February, 2007.

As a devoted fan of his Belgariad, books that introduced me to reading fantasy fiction, I can say he will be dearly missed.

Thanks for the friends.

I've heard of his books, but I've never had the chance to read them.  Now may not be a good time, because I'm sure an author's death is a reason for people to flock to the library in search for their books to check out.
