I read about this in Popular Science and it sounded really neat. I realize it's new, but I've been on here for 10 minutes and I'm very confused. It took too long for me to find a book. Once I found out where I had to go, I still don't really know what to do. I think this is a really great idea, but I haven't figured it out yet. I guess I thought I would pick or list 5 or 10 books that I really like and Booklamp would suggest other books or authors. Maybe the current book list just isn't big enough yet. I also would rather find books by author rather than book title. I'm now going to go see if I can add some books that I've read.
Thanks, Lyle.

It's still in beta, so the suggesting-function isn't... functional yet.   Wink

A lot of people have come here from that article, apparently.  Someone on the BL team should get hold of a copy to scan for us!

Lyle,

BookLamp.org is still in development, so there's not much to look at right now.  I apologize for the difficulties you had in getting a recommendation, but there are only 179 books in the demonstration - which is entirely too small for regular use.  The demonstration is just that, a demonstration.  It's about 1.5 years old now and we've made quite a bit of progress since then.

Thanks for checking us out, and keep in touch.
