Since you're tagline is "Pandora for books," I suggest utilizing a search option (or an alternate drop down box) alphabetized by Author: <Last Name>, <First Name>.

Currently, your list of books is alphabetized by title...good, but requires a bit more work on behalf of the researcher (end user) to locate specific author's work.  Considering your goal is to "create useful search criteria for book lovers, by scanning works based on writing style, [etc...]" this little adjustment will be more intuitive for future visitors and members.

Thanks for the suggestion.  The search page that's currently available is only meant to be a demonstration, and there are many, many improvements that will be made.  The final product will likely look nothing like what you see there, and be much more intuitive and user friendly.  The demonstration is meant to convey the concept, but your comments are noted.
