So...

maybe you have two or three, or more than you can count.

What's your favorite book?

The Age of Fire series by E. E. Knight; the Kolmar trilogy by Elizabeth Kerner; most every book by Terry Pratchett (particularly Interesting Times!).

For now, it would have to be The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. It topped my list since last year. :'D

I read most of that one a few years ago, but I never did get all the way through it.  I need to read it sometime...

Mine would have to be With Fire and Sword by Henryk Sienkiewitz.  It's really long, but definetly worth the read.

The Book Thief is a top ten for sure, but my new favorite is the Tales of the Black Company series.  Come to think of it I pretty much love anything Glen Cook writes.

Idlewild by Nick Sagan is a recent favorite.  Everyone that I know (sans one person) loves the book.

I highly, highly recommend avoiding the back cover of the book, as it spoils the first revelation of the book.  It's along the lines that the author wrote the book first, and then wrote the back cover.  It's much more enjoyable if you don't read it.

[Edit: To clarify: It starts off extremely surrealistic with love-craftian monsters and eerie lights but later takes one a Science Fiction Twist.  The main character has amnesia, so you discover everything about the world as he does.]
