So I arrived in New York last night at about 1 a.m., and found the city much as I left it several years ago on my last visit. Busy and full of people. This is going to be a short update, because I have a great deal to do today. Some meetings are already set up for the rest of the week, others I have to go set up if possible - more walking into lobbies and asking for meetings.
Reminds me of the good 'ol days.

Fear of rejection and all that. This time, though, I have a bit more backing me up than a good idea and an unwillingness to hear "no". This time I have a number of other people counting on me, which reinforces the need to really do this right, and I have more than just an idea to discuss.
I look forward to the meetings I already have established, but I'm not really looking forward to the cold calls that I expect to be making today.

I'll post updates (as well as photos) to this thread for most of the trip, I think, instead of creating new threads each time. Also, the running blog will go on CanGoogleHearMe.com, of course.
I've got to get to work. Talk to everyone soon.
