So I arrived in New York last night at about 1 a.m., and found the city much as I left it several years ago on my last visit.  Busy and full of people.  This is going to be a short update, because I have a great deal to do today.  Some meetings are already set up for the rest of the week, others I have to go set up if possible - more walking into lobbies and asking for meetings.

Reminds me of the good 'ol days.  Smiley  Fear of rejection and all that.  This time, though, I have a bit more backing me up than a good idea and an unwillingness to hear "no".  This time I have a number of other people counting on me, which reinforces the need to really do this right, and I have more than just an idea to discuss.

I look forward to the meetings I already have established, but I'm not really looking forward to the cold calls that I expect to be making today.  Smiley

I'll post updates (as well as photos) to this thread for most of the trip, I think, instead of creating new threads each time.  Also, the running blog will go on CanGoogleHearMe.com, of course.

I've got to get to work.  Talk to everyone soon.

Good luck with all your meetings!  Good to hear you made it to NY safely.  Wink

Be kinder than necessary, because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
